Severance Hill, Schroon

Anyone know the situation with the parking area for Severance? Could we park on the side of route 9 if the parking area is snowed in?

Thanks

It's been a while, but I have in the past. There's a State Police Barracks just down the road. I checked in with them, and the Trooper said you can, as long as your vehicle is completely off the road

I was just past the parking area on Saturday, and it is not plowed.
It is pretty packed down by the snowmobiles though. You could probably park there if you have 4WD. If not there are places nearby where you should be able to park without a problem.
