You just have to hope that the Adirondack Reserve has a lot of patience. Imagine the hue and cry from the hoi polloi if they start hanging "No Exceptions Posted signs" again, and excluding high peak seekers from their trails.

The 28 year old who just pulled over on 73 and headed into the woods, and then got "disoriented" and called for help is especially disturbing. These Rangers , ECO's and other responders are going to be showing signs of PTSD after another year like last year.
