Lake Arnold Trail conditions?

Looking at getting to the four corners area next weekend (Jun15). Does anyone have current information on trail condition/water level on the Lake Arnold Trail. I am reading that it can get rather soggy.

Also - any current info on black fly levels would be great.

In this trip report, the author returned to ADK Loj via the Lake Arnold Trail. Relevant quote:

Deep, thick mud made this route extremely slow going from Lake Colden until the Lake Arnold Trail intersection. Once we rounded that corner the trail seemed much more solid, other than the narrow board walks through the swampy area that had us both walking knee deep in water at times.

Same as it ever was. Expect the OpenFootSoakey Bridge to be floating and be pleased if it isn't.

Great info. Looks like I have to spend some quality time at that other site too.

We can switch over to Upper Works to Feldspar Brook area or the popular Marcy Dam - Van Hoevenberg trail

Watching DEC Trail Advisory to see if they lift it. May switch over to Rocky Peak Ridge. Thank you Kevin7 for your recent report
