Indian Head - Too Much of a "Thing"?

In the past few years, photos of the view from Indian Head on sites like this one have drawn many, many visitors to this location. Some have made videos of elaborate yoga poses. “Adirondack Life” magazine highlighted Indian Head by putting a photo of someone in a Wonder Woman costume on the summit, And then there have just been the large, noisy groups. Those who preserved this property, starting in 1886, were perfectly content to enjoy just a quiet appreciation for the beauty of this spot. From the beginning, these initial preservers were willing to share their scenic treasures with others who were willing to make the effort to get there. As of 1978, that “sharing” was codified in a Foot Trail Easement. However, despite the legal “right” to hike to Indian Head, those who do go there should consider that they are still “guests’ of the landowner and enjoy/use that place in the same way that the 19th Century founders did. Quietly and without any “extreme” videos or photos. O.K. there were no selfies in 1886, but if you must, go ahead and do one.
