Hiking from Garden lot to JBL in dark

We're a couple hiking in from garden lot to Johns Brook lodge. We want to set up base camp at night so we can get hiking early in the morning. Any thoughts about leaving garden lot around 7:30 pm to JBL at night? Thank you!

That trail is well traveled by night hikers. A couple fridays ago we passed at least 4 different groups heading towards JBL well past dark. A good headlamp makes all the difference.

I have done it a number of times in the dark. It's a great night hike. On the weekends the campsites fill up in the order you reach them so you may have to go past JBL before you find an available spot.

Super easy to follow trail, just have a good headlamp and backup batteries!
