If you've got them, post them.

1) Mount Ojibway, Isle Royale National Park

2) Ishpeming Point, Isle Royale National Park (built in an area that had burned in the 1930s; when the forest surrounded the tower they added a crows nest on top)

3) Footers of the old Number Four Tower in Lewis County

4) View from the Mount Adams cab

Since everyone is posting mostly Adirondack FT's here are a few from my travels elsewhere...

VERMONT:

Mt. Olga

Stratton Mtn

Glastenbury Mtn

Ludlow (Okemo)

Ascutney (Remodeled into platform)

Gile (Remodeled-No Cabin)

Dorset (complete with BBQ Grill!)

Spruce Mtn

Killington

Bear Mtn (Allis SP)

MAINE

Mt Agamenticus

PENNSYLVANIA

Mt Davis (Not original FT?)

WEST VIRGINIA

Mt Olson (133 Steps!)

I've visited many others in the Adirondacks, Taconics and Catskills as well as some observation structures on various mountaintops as well.

Fire towers are a great way to see a piece of history in the forest and the views are great, but they can be pretty scary on a windy day!

Maple Mt. Ontario. Adirondack fire towers with their staircases are much more user friendly.
