Five Mile Lean To/Gull Pond/Spectacle Pond Mar 18

We did a weekend away for my wife's birthday weekend and got some great hiking in. We are still new to snowshoeing so Five Mile Lean To was a good chance for us to test a little elevation. Gull and Spectacle Ponds were great hikes, especially because we had them all to ourselves. Gull was beautiful and is amazing for such a short hike, I'd like to try and do an overnight there this summer.

Good stuff!

The woods still look pretty good.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice!
For a fun & easy off-trail through route try Gull Pond to Harrison Marsh to Shanty Bottom Brook to the Spectacle Pond trail, or vice versa.

Thanks for the thumbs up and recommendations! Crosstrek has been a great car, its a little small for my 6'6" frame but its my wifes everyday driver and perfect for her :-)
