Love the holiday lights. Glad to see they still work.

Your hike out in the snow reminded me of our Cotton Lake hike a couple years ago. Good times.

I can't hear a damn thing on the audio, not sure if it's just me or it's the video itself.

Anyway, that area is great once it gets some snowpack, you can go virtually anywhere pretty easily (skis help though).

Those are Bill’s, and yeah they’re pretty cool aren’t they?!
They give off some pretty good light & ambience inside the lean-to.

Hmmm...maybe double check your volume? The link worked fine for me.

Anyone else having audio issues?

I had this issue on some of your other videos as well. My volume is maxed and it's still barely audible. No other issues on recent youtube vids I've watched.

Can you increase it somehow before you upload?

Well that’s interesting, and I’m not sure what the issue could be.
Yeah I can adjust the volume, which I did on a few clips, and I always need to turn the music down a bit otherwise it’s way too loud, but other than that it seemed ok to me. I’ll just blame it on my computer curse...the damn GoPro Studio software did freeze up & crash on me 3 times before I was finally able to export the video.

All I could hear was the occasional "WHoooo!"

It's not a big deal, I just noticed it with some of your more recent vids. Some of the old ones I can hear fine.

My only computer is a laptop and the audio is not great on it as it is, but I can usually hear everything else.

Bummer man...I was hoping you’d dig the Visions of Mohr jam.

Another captivating JCF video!!
Beautiful spot, I don't think I've ever stayed in the Ha De Ron Dah wilderness area...
And what, if Russ had more lines you would have to pay him union scale?

Thanks Mike.
And yeah, I need to do a better job of including my companions (other than Jenny) a bit more.

Thanks Grandpa,
Sorry about the sound issues, I’m not sure what’s going on with that. So far, other than you & Montcalm, everyone else has told me the sound is fine, here & on Facebook.

I did notice that the ‘HD Quality’ setting didn’t kick in until about a half hour after I uploaded it to Facebook & YouTube... Who knows, maybe this crazy weather has something to do with it. Maybe try again later or tomorrow and see if it’s any better.

I prefer raspberry, but that's not bad either.

If I can find a pair of headphones, I'll try those.

Well, some others have also now mentioned that the sound being a bit quiet on a few of my recent videos, and I think I may have diagnosed at least part of the issue...

See... I like music, a lot in fact, always have, and my computer is connected to my stereo system (yes I still own a stereo). Call me crazy but iTunes sounds so much better coming out of the stereo speakers than say laptop or computer speakers...just saying.

So I’m guessing that the sound coming out of my “computer speakers” may be a bit more louder than what’s coming out from others’ speakers.
Funny thing is though, everyone that I’ve talked to so far who watched the video on their smart phone didn’t seem to have any sound issues.

So, I just wanted to pass that info along, and I will be sure to adjust the volume levels accordingly in the future. Apologies for the oversight, and thanks again for all the kind comments. Cheers!

-Justin

Sound was fine on my end.

SG, go in there someday. A small, but nice area. Middle Settlement and Middle Branch get use and sometimes abuse, but other parts in the area see little.

My favorite is the trail from Middle settlement to Pine Lake.

Thanks for your hard work and dedication, Justin!

I don't know what everyone else does, but I ditched my dedicated home stereo system a few years back and just have one entertainment system hooked to the TV. I can watch youtube on the TV, and that would probably give me some more volume. But most of the time I watch clips like this I just use a laptop - plus there's a link here
