Here's Max (and my tired bride) on Hadley a few years ago.
Max is a 105 lb Shepherd/Huskie/Rottweiller mutt with a very laid back personality.
He's feeling his age of over 10 years old now, but still has those occassional "puppy" days when he bounces and bounds as if he had brand new joints.
BTW, he's no good in a skinny canoe, and only OK in a sailboat, he refuses to hike out...

yea,I have reason to invest in a dog next year.I have another joke:
On the first day of school, the children brought gifts for their teacher.
The florist's son brought the teacher a bouquet of flowers.
The candy-store owner's daughter gave the teacher a box of candy.
Then the liquor store owner's son brought up a heavy box. The teacher lifted it a bit.She touched a drop of the liquid with her finger and tasted it.
''Is it wine?'' she guessed.
''No,''the boy replied. She tasted another drop and asked,''Champagne?''
''No,''said the boy,''it's a puppy!'' Looncry
