High Peaks area camping this weekend (Ironman)?

Looking to pick the collective brain here... I was hoping to car camp on Rt73 this weekend and get some day hikes in, and have never been up during the Ironman. Anyone know if things get full or does the action stay mostly north of Keene Valley? Expect lots of traffic on 73? Or scrap it and plan to go elsewhere? Any tips would be appreciated.

Portions of RT 73 will be closed for the race.

In case anyone has the same question in the future, not a trip report per se but I went with some trepidation and it was very successful. Went up Thursday as a precaution and the first two choices of campsite (at the north/south fork confluence) were taken, though they had cleared out by Sunday morning so I don't know if they stayed all weekend. The Chapel Pond sites looked packed all weekend but we took the drive-up site on the north fork Thursday night then moved to the site just upstream for the rest of the weekend. The drive-up site was unoccupied the entire rest of the time! So, trailheads were busy but seems like there's plenty of space for camping as long as you don't get up too late.
