A Paddle & Jaunt to an Old Favorite Haunt

Enjoyed a nice weekend paddling the Cedar River Flow, and backpacking to the Colvin Brook lean-to for an overnighter with the adopter & good friend, DuctTape Russ, and to also do some maintenance work on a couple down spruce trees that fell into the campsite. Apologies for a little bit of a shaky video, I haven't recorded with the GoPro camera in a while and I'm a little out of practice, and I'm not a big fan of using the youtube stabilization aid. I hope you enjoy the video non the less. Cheers!

Thanks TM.

And many thanks again to Tim & Scott for helping out, great to meet you guys!
I believe they both are also members of this forum, but I don't think I caught their adkforum usernames.
DuctTape & I also ran into MoodyBlues on the way out, and it was great to meet him as well! Such a fun weekend!

Great video. I haven't been to the Adirondacks since hiking Five Ponds Wilderness two years ago.I really miss it up there. Your video helps me to feel like I'm there for at least a few minutes.

Hi Justin. I am on the forums and Scott is not. I'm not even sure if he is a lurker. We are heading out to Pigeon Lake Wilderness on 11/11 to overnight at Little Sisters Lake. Looking forward to some cooler weather.

Cool thanks B-Man!
As I was packing up the truck I did ask and he mentioned he visits here once in a while, just couldn't remember if he had a username or not.
Enjoy the weekend, I'll be back in the Pharaohs.

Thanks for bringing us along. Russ' incident while using the axe is why I never wear a ring when doing that type of work. It might not be appreciated by my wife but I much prefer to keep my body from bleeding (LOL).

That's all for now. Take care and until next time....be well.

Yeah looking back I wish that I had said something wittier like, "Now that's love right there!"

Justin, Another great video! I've done that same trip a few times and it's one of favorites. Haven't done it in a few years but I'm feeling inspired to get back to the Colvin lean-to now. Thanks for doing all that work to keep it such a great camping spot.
