Found Fenwick Fly Rod in Mid to Late 90's; St Regis Canoe Area

Now that I found this forum I hope I can locate the owner of a fly rod I found many years ago (mid to late 90's) on one of the portages of the St. Regis Canoe Area. This is a Fenwick rod and it was a GIFT to someone.

To claim it, let me know what message of endearment is written on it and what other implement was in the rod case.

This post is also in Lost and Found, Hunting/Fishing and General ADK Discussion.

Once again, here is hoping I can find the owner of this long lost rod.

If the rod has a name on it, have you tried looking on the internet for that person? Probably an even longer shot, but if the message on the rod was something personalized by the Fenwick company, they might have a record or address for the purchaser. (If the rod says "To Kalmia with Thanks from Ted Williams", it's mine though...) - K

You are an honourable gentleman Bearcat, and I salute you. Best of luck with finding the lucky owner.
