black fly updates?

Has anyone been up to the High Peaks in the last few days? How are the flies? I'm thinking of making a trip up this weekend (5/21) if they're not too bad.

At my house at 1800' in Keene, I have not seen them yet. Of course this morning it was 31F with an inch of fresh snow on the ground. But at this point in the season, they will vary day by day; it's impossible to predict even tomorrow's bug conditions.
