Also, the idea of shoveling a roof does not appeal to me. I've done it once and that was enough. However, I might be doing it again....

-44 degrees is the same in both F + C , saw that on the Tupper Lake time/temp sign in front of the Tupper Lake bank a few years ago.

Actually they're closer at -40 but "freaking cold" covers anything in that range.

only at -40 are C and F exactly the same.

Just to confuse things-they wouldn't meet at minus 40, or would they? if Celsius's scale hadn't been changed after his death.
He had made it zero [0] egualed boiling and 100 was freezing.

In 1742, Anders Celsius created a temperature scale which was the reverse of the scale now known by the name "Celsius":
0 represented the boiling point of water, while 100 represented the freezing point of water.

And if Jean-Pierre Christin and Carl Linnaeus hadn't inverted Celsius's original scale, the world would be different.
