Perspective
Or more appropriately Scale . Didn't want to clutter up TMs trail report , but really liked the picture of the erratic with a walking stick ( hiking pole ) leaning against it to show the size difference.
When I can,I try to add something as well , weather it is a lighter next to tracks or whatever seems to fit that is handy. Same rock ,same day , just different pics. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nope , not too far from it though. "Dads rock" is just a spot on a small ledge . Small rock just the right height for a nice place to sit.

Lighter for tracks :
![]() ![]() I believe these tracks were the same bear , about 1/2 mile away from the first tracks.. It was definitely making a straight " bee-line " to somewhere. I feel pretty sure it decided it was time for his long winters nap. Winter set in the next day and didn't see any more tracks the following weeks. ![]()

Awesome photos of the big rock! Nice overhang to keep the rain off of you.
I like the Winchester perspective too. Slightly more classy than my hiking pole. ![]() Good sized bear tracks. It's amazing how fast they can walk. I remember one crossing my path in less than ten seconds over ground it would have taken me a couple minutes to navigate. Pretty phenomenal animals.
