Mountain lion euthanized in Kentucky

I didn't see any threads on this topic yet. A mountain lion was spotted in Kentucky earlier this week, which the KY Fish and Wildlife decided to euthanize. Apparently, it was the first mountain lion seen in Kentucky in nearly 150 years (although apparently it hasn't been tested yet, so it very well could turn out to be someone's escaped/released pet).
