Piseco to Wakely

Hi everyone. Posting to see if anyone will be doing this section of the trail in late May?

I will be looking for a ride from Wakely back to somewhere near Old Forge.

Ed,

Mother's Day is Sunday, May13th.

There is a large extended family of very good people who have been camping near Otter Brook Bridge, each and every year at this time; for 70 years or more. They are always there for a week, just when the black flies get bad.

They will help you out.
No doubt.
It's a Ritual.

Mothering Sunday, the Forth Sunday in lent would be March 11

So after 20 years of being this side of the ocean still coming to terms with the difference! But a tradition is just that a tradition so May 13 it is

What kind of canoe did you use to cross the pond?
...and who taught you how to spell blackflie?

My daughter and I will be doing that section Memorial Day weekend but will be heading south toward Speculator when we come out.

The trail from Piseco to Spruce Lake #1 should be cleared by then but I can't speak for the rest of it.
