St Regis DEC campsite map

When I went to Long Pond a few weeks ago, I brought along a copy of the DEC campsite map from the DEC WEB site. I found some of the sites mark as non-camping being rehabilitated. Even my site on the point had areas marked off. The map on the DEC WEB site is noted as 3/2016, so 3 years ago. The map seems out of date vs. what I observed. Are there more accurate maps available?

Heading back for July 4th weekend, hate to have to hunt for a site or miss a new site that's not on that map.

Thanx's

Have you checked the new National Geographic maps? I think the one for Saranac Lake covers the St Regis area, and these were all updated last year.

You will need to hunt for a site for sure. one of the busiest weekends for camping. Last two years i went out and was unable to get a road side site 2 days before even and was forced to find others past paul smiths. St regis canoe area makes a paddlers map but im not sure how up to date they are after last years closings.
