Justin, is that Hoffman in the last pic?
That would put you on east end of Crane Pond?

Nope.
Believe it or not, I was not in the Pharaohs at all last week.

Someone should know this.

(Hints: the picture was taken from the truck.
Another thread mentions a nearby lake.)

I was paying attention...

You were over on my side of the Adirondacks this week, I see. Funny, I made a 6-hour round-trip drive to hike in the eastern Adirondacks.

That's correct!
Taken from the access road to the launch, Uncas Rd, and vicinity in Raquette Lake (Antler Rd maybe?) off of Route 28.

Yes it's from Durant, on the return from Cascade Pond.

Here's a couple of shots from Saturday on Sucker Brook in Pharaoh Wilderness

...and Sunday on Big Pond in Hoffman Notch Wilderness

What the heck. Are we playing a guessing game.

Here's one on private land (we had permission).

Here's another (you won't guess it), it's at the base of Little Moose.

Burger Loop (N.Schuylerville, NY)

Short little walking trail called Burger Loop north side of Schuylerville, Ny Just off Route 4. You'll Find a HUGE Beaver Dam here Sure if you were to sit still for awhile and wait, one would see lots of Beavers in action.

Swimming Beaver

Beaver Home

right end of dam

left end of dam

here can see 2 tiers of the beaver dams
