Doggone Fun Bike Trip to Boreas Ponds

Hello All,

On this most beautiful of days, I had the privilege of taking a bike trip out to see the Boreas Ponds. It didn't take long to get there from the 2nd parking area, since the dogs are trained to pull me on the bike.:-) Here are links to my photo album and a panoramic video on my Facebook. I have never tried to link to my FB page before, so let me know if you can view them. The dogs wear bells, so you can hear them jingling in the video. There was a nice gentleman out the in his canoe. When he came in, we chatted for a bit. He had caught a few brookies. I was jealous!

Dog pulling bike

>You're jealous?? How about a quick video of the dogs "skijoring" with the bike?<

Only the larger one pulls the bike. The smaller, slower dog just follows behind. I use a Walky Dog Bike Leash which attaches to the seat post of the bike. I don't run him out front on any place where there could be oncoming traffic. Here is a short clip of us running on River Rd. in Benson. Our top speed on this little jaunt was 18mph.

The link you followed may have expired, or the page may only be visible to an audience you're not in.

I think you'd have to change it to public for us to see it.

I thought it was public. I went back and tried to change it again. Let's try one more time.

Well, it's something you have to train. They mind their business when they are running. I can call them off running wildlife if I need to. I am a professional dog trainer and have been training and competing with dogs in various dog sports for over 40 years.
