I wish! When I get to a good spot I put him on his leash and loosely tie it around my waist. When we approach a deep hole Im thinkin "this hole looks like it holds fish" and hes thinkin " what a delightful place for a dip!". When Im real serious about catching fish I leave him home but thats very diffucult when he gives you the sad face.

Good looking partner there!

When my pooch was still kicking, I let him run and swim for about a 1/2 hour before I started really working the water. He was a stubborn Shep/golden/lab cross but once he had a chance to run around, he was very well behaved. But, if I didn't let him sniff the fish before release....well, that's a whole other story.

Hmmmm.

I heard of a vet who would be happy to take a look at your dog. And this is the unreal part - first visit is FREE !!

Dolittle is the name I believe.
