Looking at doing Buck from the East, anyone know of trail conditions...thanks

Haven't hiked it myself since deer season but I drove by the Hogtown trailhead last week while going ice fishing and it looked like it had solid snowshoe traffic. I'd guess it's the same from the Pilot Knob side, if that's the way you're going.

It should be broken as doing it from Hogtown has become more popular over the years.

I climbed Buck from Hogtown yesterday. We were the first hikers signed in since the weekend before. The trail is well broken to the summit. All the wet areas are frozen. About 2' of snow on the summit. The parking lot is plowed. The trail to the summit from the Lake George side is also broken out.
