I can also do the same Naproxen script and it helps but I find 1pill is usually adequate but sometimes I also take a half of acetaminophen/codeine pill.
Days when I won't be exerting I take none....

I wonder if you can park where the old lumber mill was is across from McD's? Its a fishing area and park/ballfield. Lots of people fish at night. Call the town cops and ask.

Could be too you only have a localized infection because the tick head was in your skin for so long...tho it sounds...

Here, a couple counties north of you in NY, 50% of the ticks carry Lyme so big prevention and caution after are necessary.

If I had to guess...you were in the general area...

If I had to guess...you were in the general area of its nest but also I have often thought their screech can get game to move so they can see it.
