Autumn Adirondack Afternoon

Yeah it was chilly out.. I want to do the Raquette from Stony Creek Ponds into Tupper Lake at some point. I've done Axton to the Falls back in 2017 with the NFCT crew.

Exploring Henderson Lake

My opinion is Henderson Lake is definitely worth the small effort to get to. The trail is wide and flat. If you don't have a kayak/canoe cart definitely invest in one as they do come in handy. Anyway...

In 2015 I did a kayak trip on the Delaware river from Narrowsburg, NY to Mill Rift (Near Port Jervis). Its 31 miles I believe and we camped over night at the Barrysville, NY campground. A super fun...

Getting the Muck Out

Campsites

Henderson is a great place to paddle as this was my first time. The campsites that we scouted are lacking. Yes I would want to be on the water. However IMO the lean-to is the nicest site but not...
