Not mentioned yet - I often find the Discover the ? Adirondacks guidebooks mention the campsites on particular routes - lots of hikes & a fair number of paddles too.

My first Lila trip was in my red Cruiser (Goldenglass) soon after the lodge was removed. Sold the Cruiser maybe 20-25 years ago (Stripper?), had a green Autumn Mist for a while too.

I think the part from the dam to Winding Falls (& then to Bog River Falls) is worth doing. But from Winding Falls to Round Lake you will be carrying most of the way.
