That was also my impression when I wandered around the Beaver Run Pond area last October. Way less crowded than Dolly Sods, too.

That was easily one of my favorite outings last year -- particularly that Quehanna Meadow area southwest of the pond/dam that I posted a few pics of here. What a spectacular and colorful place to explore when the leaves are changing, and it even looks nice this time of year judging by your photos. Thanks for bringing me back to that awesome spot!
