Great Range Traverse (video)
I went out with a friend this past weekend to tackle the Great Range. I completed my 46er a few weekends ago and thought might as well do it all over again.
This trip report is in the form of video...you may have to view in full screen. when making the video it reduced the side of it for some reason. Also, here are pictures: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...4&l=79e44bba57 Hope yall enjoy!! ![]()

I love the video from the top of Marcy looking at Haystack (about 2 minutes in) where the apline grass is flowing in the wind.
What type of camera do you use? |

I use a nikon d300s. It's an slr with HD video. If you want I can post the original HD clip. for some reason, when i made the movie, it screwed things up.

Awesome trip report! Very cool video of the hike!
btw: Who is the singer of the second song? I've heard the song, just can't remember whom it is. |

Really like what you did with this. Very artistic.
Clever how you fool us with thinking it's a still shot and then you start moving. Your night sky was impressive. That camera must have been heavy! Which mountain had the ropes you pulled up on? Gothics? Saddleback? |

Kurt Von, I have really enjoyed this and all of your other recent trip reports. You really have a knack for visuals. Great work and good luck with all your future Adirondack endevors.
