But isn't that the story of the Adirondack Park? And specifically with respect to motorized boats, wasn't this already done in 1972? The Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan stopped motorized access to the 1898 tract that is now the St. Regis Canoe wilderness area. Before that, didn't fisherman, and campers use motors on boats on the more accessible waterways?
