It was a blustery day in my happy place today.

#1. Some passing snow showers obscure the view of Sutherland, Wallace and Three Ponds Mts.

#2. A lot less color than there was a couple weeks ago, but still nice.

OK, I've got it now...I started a new site on Flickr, but couldn't seem to link the photos. After much diddling, I got it! Or, at least, close enough.

I'm confused! I guess only those who have been in a similar situation can identify with the tranquility expressed in these images. The aura of remoteness, of quiet, of rudimentary peace. We need more wilderness not less.

Thanks! I'm working on getting better at those specifically. I need to get a polarized filter for my camera still, so that I can get better waterfall photos in without having to take them in late afternoon on gloomy, overcast days.

Rime 'n Clouds.

Rime encrusted binocular station overlooking cloud inversion. Mount Marcy is visible in the distance.
