3 Brothers/Big Slide 6/26/12

This is my first high peak since I was 13 years old when I hiked Blueberry, Porter then Cascade with my dad. I usually stick to the hikes around Lake George but a friend of mine is a 46er and invited me to go.

Wasn't a very nice day yesterday for a hike. I don't think we got to even the first brother and we were socked in with rain and fog. However, it was a great experience. I also tested out my new Vibram 5 Fingers on a legit hike and they were great for ascending but not so for descending. (Yes I did acclimate myself to them, been wearing them since April) My sense of adventure is attached to my sense of stupidity most of the time. I'll stick to my boots from now on when doing a high peak. Wasn't a great day for taking pictures either but I'll share the ones I've got. Nothing really of note but just thought I'd share.

What pictures I could get are uploaded to my tumblr account. Cheers.

I believe he does. However, I don't think he wears it so much around female hikers he doesn't want to show the whole "twig and berries" to. Whenever he was higher than me climbing, I always keep my eyes down. He says its comfortable but I don't think it would be so comfortable.
