Question Canoe Distance/Times

I'll be spending a night on Green Island in Lower Saranac Lake this summer, and was wondering if anyone knew the approximate distance/canoe time to Green Island? We're 2 people with intermediate canoe skills. Also, where's the best place to park and launch from? Would it be the State Bridge Boat Launch? Thanks!!

20 minutes to an hour. Its a little over a mile. We paddled around the perimeter of the whole lake last Oct. it was a little over 11 miles in 3 hours.

Google maps has a new feature that calculates distances that really came in handy for my planning: My bf and I are whitewater kayakers who got a tandem canoe to bring our dog on the water, we both paddled canoes in the past, but not for a few years, and took the canoe out twice before our trip, we only averaged about 25 min/mile on lower saranac, and a little slower on indian lake due to wind, wakes from powered boats, and a dog that wouldnt sit still. We happened to be on indian lake during a canoe race, and were awed by the speed of the people paddling by us.
