Job Requirements: Manage overnight camping program on a private island on Trout Lake. Teach children ages 8 – 16 the wonders of nature and the fun of living outdoors. Organize hikes and wilderness trips such as white water rafting, canoeing and hiking trips.

Job Qualifications & Experience: A love for the outdoors and experience working with children. Good judgment, maturity, planning skills, a sense of adventure and an outgoing personality are important. Outdoor cooking, campfire stories and wilderness games are a plus.

Salary: Negotiable – Depending upon experience

Camp Walden staff members are hired with the mission of helping campers experience deep and meaningful friendships, explore new challenges and adventures, excel in their favorite sports and activities and enjoy the best summer of their lives, every summer. Camp Walden is a traditional co-ed summer camp with everything from team sports and drama to mountain biking and an incredible water front program. Our pristine, spring-fed lake and over one hundred acres of beautiful property is the perfect setting for our campers and staff to challenge them selves as they make new friends and create a lifetime of memories. We are located 3 ½ hours from NYC and Boston and 2 ½ hours from Montreal.
