Oh good. Another lean-to without any designated tent sites nearby for overflow traffic.

No need for designated tent sites which are 150' from trail and water since any spot under those conditions is permitted.

Upon reading the plan I got the impression that there would not be more than one LT in the WA and that it would still be at Copperass Pond but moved further from the trail.

The Sentinel Wilderness is mostly just that - a wilderness with a few human incursions around the outer skin. Even bushwhackers who go to the summits of it's 3,000' peaks remain at the outer edges. I've criss-crossed the unit on a good number of hikes, going from one entry point to another and going over 2 or 3 of the peaks. The inner areas are completely devoid of human imprints and the non-trailed outer sections only have the occasional abandoned hunter camps. Signs of big game abound.

Got any pics?

I've seen plenty of moose rubbings.
